Wrestling Reality # 31 with Dr. Mike Lano

Wrestling Wreality # 31 - Show dedicated to Don Knotts, Dennis Weaver. Up to the second coverage of Stacy Kiebler getting voted off Dancing with the Stars but getting an offer to be an on-air The Insider personality, Wrestlemania line-up shaping up plus Hogan to induct Okerlund in HOFame which sold out quickly; TNA ppv gets good marks, WWE plays it smart in the Phillipines although so close to the rioting, Kiebler's final WWE appearance at Mania before she goes mainstream? Non WWE and TNA tv shows you can find on cable and satellite.

WWE today kicked off the Wellness Program, a
program that will have an aggressive substance abuse and drug testing
policy and a cardiovascular testing and monitoring program. The program
prohibits the non-medical use and associate abuse of prescription
medications and performance-enhancing drugs, as well as the use,
possession and/or distribution of illegal drugs by WWE Talent. Dr. David
L. Black, Ph.D., D-ABFT, D-ABCC, of Aegis Sciences Corporation,
Nashville, Tennessee. will be in charge of the testing, collecting and
shipping samples etc. WWE Superstars will be tested on a random basis
and an initial test of all talent will be considered 'baseline' testing.
No discipline will be imposed for a positive test on the baseline test.
The results of the baseline test, if positive for any prohibited
substance, will be utilized thereafter by Dr. Black to determine if use
has continued. The cardiovascular aspect of the wellness program will be
handled by New York Cardiology Associates P.C., led by Drs. Post and
Feuerbach. Under this aspect of the Program, all WWE Talent will undergo
an extensive cardiovascular stress test. Examinations and treatment will
be conducted thereafter as warranted.

- Earlier today in Washington, DC., all WWE Superstars were in a meeting
with WWE officials to discuss the new drug testing program. Everyone in
the company was brought over to Washington - the site of the RAW
and Smackdown! tapings - for this important meeting. There will be three
penalties for those Superstars who fail the drug test. After the first
fail, the Superstar will be suspended for 30 days without pay. A second
positive test outcome will result in a 60 day suspension without pay or
will be sent to a substance abuse facility if the doctor suggests it. A
third positive test result will be the end of their WWE career as they
will be fired!

- Despite being a favorite with the judges, Stacy Keibler wasn't that
favorite with the fans of 'Dancing With The Stars'. After receiving a
backlash from fans of the show due to her being a former dancer and the
power of WWE marketing behind her appearance, fans voted Stacy out
midway through the finale yesterday and later voted Drew Lachey as the
winner of the 2nd season of the show with his dance partner Cheryl
Burke. Keibler is looking for a post-WWE career after her successful run
on the show and her days in WWE are pretty much numbered.

- WWE today announced that USA Network will be airing the Hall of Fame
ceremony on Saturday April 1st at 11PM CT, just hours after the ceremony
ends. Tickets for the show sold out so the only place to watch it will
be on USA Network. Last year Spike TV aired an hour of the Hall Of Fame,
showing Piper's and Hogan's inductions. This year USA will air an edited
version of the ceremony. Bret Hart, Gene Okerlund, Eddie Guerrero are the first
announced for the class of 2006. To date, there is no actual or physical hall of fame for WWE unlike the Iowa and Buffalo museum/halls that are non-affiliated with WWE.
